Musica Pagani #9: A day early

Due to some scheduling issues and RevKess getting deep into research, Musica Pagani aired a day early. Saturdays are the usual day for the Pagan-Musings Podcast with KaliSara and RevKess. RevKess has to work and KaliSara has dived deep into her writing projects. So, Musica Pagani comes to you a day early. Hope that you enjoy!

The format is a little bit different for this evening’s broadcast as well. Managing to squeeze the show into just over two hours, RevKess brings you a selection of New Age and Pagan music, but with a different twist. 1-2 tracks per artists instead of three, and a story thrown in their for a little bit of extra fun. As all the programming on the Pagan-Musings Podcast Channel is constantly evolving, who knows where the next edition will bring you!

Speaking of future editions, before we give you the set list, here’s a sneak peak at what is coming your way in August. On Sunday the 11th, Brian Henke visits with RevKess about his music career, shares some of his inspirations and his music. On the 18th, that Goddess Kiss’d gal from Florida, Mama Gina, joins RevKess on the show to talk about her music and a recent benefit to support a local metaphysical shop that was destroyed in a fire.

Her music is available for free download at www.motogrrl.org/Bands, but this site has details on her life, music career and her unfortunately and untimely passing. For those of you who enjoy Leigh Ann’s music and want to learn more about her, please visit the sites linked and share her life and love of music with others. Leigh Ann was also an author, you can hear Colin Hussey read her novella “The Lover of Lord Eithras“, or read the story. There doesn’t seem to be any videos on YouTube or elsewhere for Leigh Ann’s music, something just might have to be done about that.

Mother’s Day on the Mess – 051213

ad bannerHello, my friends! Sorry for any delay in the posting of the play list from Mother’s Day. Been a rather hectic week. But it is here, finally!

As you may recall, 12 May 2013 was Mother’s Day. It was also the start of a tracking week at KZUM. So, the play list has an obvious theme and reads a little differently. The theme was Mothers and Mother Goddesses. For good reason. And as you can see by looking at the list, we included the recorded label, recording company, or the artist’s name again if it was a self=published CD. This is the first time the list has been posted in this format, we hope you might find it useful.

Any errors are mine. I would appreciate any corrections that you might catch. You can comment to this posting with those corrections.
