Week 2 of Construction Begins

Hello, everyone! RevKess here!

Thought I would pop in and let you know that I am still working away on building this site. Lots to do, lots to do. Zaracon and KaliSara are writing up their host bios and those will get added to the page shortly after I get them. In the mean time, I am working out some details and learning a few new tricks.

Along with working on this site I am also continuing to do music and book reviews, working on upcoming shows, and fleshing out many other projects. As many of our listeners know, I didn’t just grab a plate from the buffet of life, I pulled my chair up to the buffet table! But I love most all of it.

Musica Pagani: Kellianna

On Wednesday, 18 April 2012, the beautiful and talented Kellianna joined RevKess for Musica Pagani. Kellianna is releasing her brand new CD, The Ancient Ones, this month and she agreed to come on the show and talk about her new CD and visit her earlier musical works. As of the writing of this post, you can pre-order the CD through Kellianna’s website or buy the digital download through Amazon or CD Baby.

Kellianna shared stories about each song that was played, as well as part of the process of creating this new CD and how she came to where she is at in her career today. Along the way, she chatted about working with other Goddess musicians and the fun of being on stage with them.

RevKess Guests on PaganFM!

Phil, aka RevKess, guested on PaganFM!, one of the only Pagan themed radio programs out there. The show aired live on Thursday, 22 March 2012. PaganFM! is hosted by Deirdre Hebert and Jasper Salach on WSCA out of Portsmouth, NH. All threehad a blast on the show. Jasper was not feeling the best, so he was not very talkative. Dee and Phil discussed Pagan communities, taking care of the elders in our communities and a brief look at the history of Pagan broadcasting. Listen to the episode here and check out PaganFM!

Dee is also the author of The Pagan in Recovery: The Twelve Steps From a Pagan Perspective. She will be joining KaliSara and RevKess on Pagan-Musings Podcast this Saturday at 7pm Central. Musica Pagani: Music of the Divine Feminine

On Wednesday, April 11, RevKess hosted a special edition of Musica Pagani with guest Jenna Greene. It was a special edition because it was done live. Musica Pagani is usually recorded in advance, but this time RevKess had a guest host with him and wanted to do it live and raw for the listeners.

Jenna Greene is a wonderful guest to have on the show, and this was her third or fourth appearance on the Channel. She’s released two CD’s and is already working out ideas for a third. Crossroads, her debut album, is a beautiful collection of songs showing some of her vocal talent and sharing her song writing skills with the world. Her second album, Wild Earth Child, has just been released and has more of a world fusion feel to the instrumentals, but continues to display her vocal talents.

Jenna joined RevKess to talk about some of the music written, recorded, or produced by Pagan women. After talking a little about each of the artists featured a selection from one of their albums was played for listener enjoyment.
